Final Tribal Council

Curtis and Kaycee have made it to the finals after their long journey. They have made it farther than the twelve people that have become casualties. The last five casualties will now determine who has made the best journey and who should win the game.

Curtis and Kaycee will post their opening statements in this thread.

After both of them have posted their opening statements, the jury will be able to ask their question in their own jury thread. Please post only in your jury thread and not in the other threads.

After all jury questions are asked and answered, Curtis and Kaycee will post their closing statements in this thread.


Below is a time line for the final tribal council:

Opening statements should be posted no later than Friday evening.

All jury questions and responses should be wrapped up no later than Monday evening.

Closing statements should be posted no later than Tuesday evening.

All votes should be submitted no later than Thursday (Nov. 11) evening.

*This time line is flexible, but I would like the votes to be revealed by the end of next week.

Hey guys

I'm not gonna sit here and bash Kaycee's game at all. She's been very loyal to me and I'm happy I took her to the finals because of that. The two of us have totally different playing styles, and I wish her luck

I know some of you may be mad at me for understandable reasons, but I was just playing the game and played to the best of my abilities, so I hope no one has any hard feelings against me

I was facing basically impossible odds right away. I was placed on the most inactive tribe I've ever seen in a game haha. We got obliterated very fast. When the merge came, it was me and Noah against the rest of you, a solid group. And I had tried to vote Noah off previously, and I knew that he had friends on your tribe, so I knew that we wouldn't be able to stick together

I was pretty much done for, but as soon as I hit the merge entirely alone, I raised my gameplay. I made a tight alliance with Ben, Chris and Kaycee and tried to find the cracks in your tribe. It was the only way for me to survive

Noah, no hard feelings. I was really close with Blake and he asked me to vote for you because you two had past beef I guess. Nothing personal, I was just sticking with my main ally

Mike, we never talked but the first thing I heard about you was Ben and Chris telling me that you wanted me out bad at the merge haha. I did what I had to do

Kodi, you were the vote that I felt the worst about. I did intend to stick with you when you were swapped to my tribe, but I heard you were with Mike so I didn't have a choice. Plus it was either you or me that week lol, and it would've been me if I didn't have the idol. You're a good guy, I wish we talked more

Ben and Chris, I like the two of you, and I hope there's no hard feelings between us for anything. You helped me out a lot when the merge happened, and without you I probably wouldn't still be in the game. I wanted to go to the final three with you guys, but obviously you had other plans and voted for me haha. It's fine though, I guess I understand why. I just wanted you to know that I never lied to you guys before that tribal (or after that actually), and wanted to work with you to the end

So yeah, I had to go through a lot to get here. I realize that some people got screwed over by me, but the only people who were screwed over tried to screw me over first. It's a game, and I was playing to win and have fun. I won challenges at the exact times I needed to, I was social, and I had good strategy and made some big moves that saved my ass a few times. I like to think I was a good all around player. If you disagree, then I'll understand!

Hey all! I had a great time playing this game. It was a lot different to play on here than on facebook, but I enjoyed it very much. I don't have any regrets playing this game and I would do it all the same again. I was 100% honest with every single person in this game and I did not lie once. In my opinion, that is something that is respectable in this game, as many people cannot play a game without lying or deceiving others. However, many people might think lying to people and deceiving them is the strategy that is more appreciated. I played the game how I wanted others to play with me, honest.

I enjoyed having the alliance I had throughout the game. I aligned with Ben and Chris while on Takeda and remained loyal to them. Once we merged, we brought Curtis into the alliance and became an alliance of four. I fully planned on going to the final four with the alliance. However, Ben and Chris has other plans and wanted to vote out Curtis. I was not okay with being disloyal to Curtis, so I did not vote Curtis out when Ben and Chris voted for him. This showed me that Ben and Chris were not loyal people and I could no longer trust them. This is the point where Curtis and I decided we would take each other to the final two. He kept his word and I am appreciative of him for doing so.

I won two individual immunities in a row and I am very proud of that. I think I was perceived as someone who was not a threat and could be disposed of at any moment or someone to take to the finals just to beat. When I won those two challenges, I hoped it had changed people's minds about me. I'm not sure if I would be here if I did not win those immunities, but it showed I was a contender in this game.

I will answer the questions already asked tomorrow. And I hope everyone appreciates my typing. I feel like I should be more proper since it's the finals. =]
